The cicada crawls on a rusty nail to molt; accompanied by an amber specimen with other insects preserved inside. This piece is wearable; it is a brooch. When the piece is not being worn on the body, it lives inside of a hand blown vessel ("the Home") designed to protect and display the specimen.
