A Lumber Baron's California Mansion

Shown is a recently renovated kitchen of a 1885 mansion home in Woodland California. The open plan kitchen has been impeccably renovated using YesterTec period workstations. The owners of this private residence lovingly restored a kitchen that captures all the charm of the historic home. The kitchen blends beautifully with the vintage home style while excelling as an efficient workspace and meeting space. The homeowners enjoy high tech appliances – beautifully concealed in the YesterTec furniture – while living in a kitchen that looks vintage to the age of the house.

YesterTec's patented, U.L. Listed Workstations completely and safely conceal standard, full sized ovens, microwaves, cooktops and dishwashers behind flipper doors. This innovative technology conceals today's state of the art appliances so they don't interfere with the timeless character of the furniture and ultimately, the design character of the room. Concealing technology gives the homeowner the opportunity to chose what they want to see, instead of being told (by the appliance manufacturers) what they must see. By offering heirloom-quality, stand-alone kitchen furniture that completely hides these elements, YesterTec has greatly expanded the design possibilities of the modern kitchen. With YesterTec it's now possible to convert a mere kitchen into a beautiful room!

Here's just an example of what this YesterTec total kitchen is concealing:

1. A state-of-the-art oven and microwave/hood are hidden behind unobtrusive pocket doors that slide into the patented, U.L. listed Range/Breakfront workstation, simultaneously triggering an internal electrical system to activate the power to the ovens.
2. The mahogany Armoire to the left of the range conceals a Subzero 700 series refrigerator and freezer.
3. Behind its bi-fold doors, the mahogany Armoire to the right of the range is a Working Pantry that conceals a full-depth countertop, shelving and numerous small appliances.
4. Additional storage and counter space is provided by the cherry Lowboys placed between the range and the flanking armoires.
5. The two mahogany Islands, featuring prep and cleanup Sink workstations, concealing the dishwasher, compactor, blender and coffee maker.
6. Custom-designed punched-tin panels embellish the Range's pocket doors, providing winsome and personalized historic flair.

Dimensions: Varied, non are 24" deep.
