Quilted Landscape Wall Hanging - "A Mother's Joy"
I had seen a photo of a woman dancing and wanted to create a wall hanging of an expectant mother and the joy she feels carrying new life within her.
I collect landscape fabrics of all types in order to create backgrounds for my main figures.
All my wall hangings include a hanging sleeve attached to the back for hanging easily on a rod.
My applique work is called raw edge applique and all fabric appliques are attached with fusible material and then stitched.
The landscape measures 18 1/2" x 22 ".
