I use found wood in many of my sculptures. This wood was picked up on a trip to Washington State on Rialto Beach. It remained me of a large bone. I used two clay bodies extruded together to create the striations in the five bone like pieces hanging from the piece. There are red accent rings that hold the clay in place. I am inspired and create these sculptures with the intentions of it hanging as a wall piece behind a couch or bed. It is also possible to hang outdoors on a deck or patio. Each piece can be created to any size to fit your needs. The found wood would be different from piece to piece also.
