These chairs are not your usual Adirondack chairs, they are modeled after "Jakes Adirondack Chair" which are wider and deeper with curved seat and back. The arms are very wide and sit parallel to the ground which is important for setting your drink on. the materials are also specifically chosen for weather resistance, I build these from cypress, Cambia (thermally modified wood that is a warm brown color), sapele, or other customer requested wood. Additionally all fasteners are stainless steel square head screw that will not rust or discolor the wood, the wood is finished with Penofin marine grade penetrating oil finish.
