This costume was designed for Nicholas as a special treat from his sister. The focus was on making the costume as much like his cartoon character as possible, down to the realistic web like features of the under wings.
For this I used cheesecloth and tea dyed it to just the right shading needed. I lined the entire fur section with wiking fabric for extra comfort and dryness. The mouth is designed with an open airway for breathing and to allow body heat to escape. The pupils of the eyes are made with transparent black plastic, allowing great vision.
