This 2" x 60" x 60" table is a result of working together closely with my client in an attempt to provide him with the ideal table. My client wanted a sturdy table that could play a multi-faceted role of both formal dining table and gathering table.
Size was very specific as well as the desire to have a pedestal base. Along with these wishes my client also wanted to have a Moroccan style or theme to match articles of their new home. As a result of research and sketch submittals to Robert he and his wife decided on this design.
I had the brass panels waterjet cut for accuracy and constructed the individual posts using locking miter joints for strength and true 90 degree corners.
Finish is a blend of traditional stains to achieve the rich tonal qualities requested and is coated with an industry leading clear coat to provide the durability, lustre and longevity required of the piece.
Comfortably seats 8 adults.
