Angelim Pedra Solid Hardwood Modern Coffee Table
The 3.5" thick top of this handmade table was fashioned out of a single piece of Angelim Pedra hardwood. It has been sealed with high quality sanding sealer, lacquer, and Minwax Paste Finishing Wax for a lustrous, natural finish. The aesthetically pleasing natural crack has been stabilized with wood dowels. An oil rubbed bronze finish has been applied to the steel base for a contemporary, rustic feel.
Angelim Pedra wood is found in South America, primarily in Brazil and Guyane. The heartwood has a beautiful rich color; varying from a light orange tan to orange brown with brown vertical stripes. The sapwood is a creamy gray color.
