False Artifacts

Do you ever walk through a museum and wish you could buy everything? I do. I'm greedy. I started making sculptures that are not reproductions, but more inspired by pieces I couldn't, or could never afford, to buy. They are made of air-dry clay and painted in acrylics. I can mimic most materials. I have items for sale now and can do commissioned pieces, depending on the size and pose, to make sure it will ship safely, as again, I work in unfired clay, not stone, wood, metal or porcelain. They are about as durable as plaster. And they are one of a kind. I plan to investigate making moulds, but at the moment, the only mould I have is one from hobby lobby of a face, which is the source of the mask pictured here.
