This piece I designed as an anniversary gift, 6th anniversary, wood and iron. The materials used for this project were white oak, iron bar stock, and malachite. The oak was lightly distressed/antiqued and the iron bar was roasted with a torch. I wanted to create a piece that looked both rock solid, stable, and well kept, but also have some age and some character, some history.
