I searched for months for an oversized (7") newel post emulating the design and workmanship of 100 years ago for our farmhouse. I found Bill Pinion's site and can only say the whole experience of working with Bill has been delightful from start to finish. Top notch craftsmanship, first class professionalism.
This large Hope/Blanket Chest is made from 200 year old Heart Pine. It has beautiful patina and very very tight grain. The case and drawers are all handcut dovetails. Inside the case is a till and a hidden drawer.
