I searched for months for an oversized (7") newel post emulating the design and workmanship of 100 years ago for our farmhouse. African Mahogany Antique Reproduction Buffet / Sideboard. This piece is 6 foot long, 20 inches deep and 37 inches high. It has 2 separated compartments with half depth shelves in each. The secondary wood for the drawer boxes is poplar and beautifully dovetailed.
