Aquamarine, Pyrope Garnet & Apatite Necklace In Sterling Silver

This necklace started with a gorgeous lampworked glass tab bead from Koregon, that is called "Lorelei". It has such wonderful color: a bright aquamarine running thru rose, purple and orange flowers, with a background of deep ruby red. I really had trouble making up my mind what gemstones to use to go with it, but finally settled on an extremely nice strand of aquamarine to bring out the aqua blue. I added pyrope garnet to match the deep red background, and some lovely little apatite rondelles as well. A few sterling silver bead caps and some tiny sterling silver rounds set off the colors and add shine to the strand. I hung the lampworked bead from its own chain attached to the necklace strand, and created a few little gem clusters to add movement and even more color. The gem clusters are pyrope garnet and moss aquamarine rondelles. The lampworked glass tab bead is about one inch in diameter, the necklace is on stranded wire and finished with a toggle clasp, and all metal is sterling silver.
