Architectural Art | Glyphs On Cabin Trim

I made the window trim for our cabin and added relief images. There are twenty glyphs on the window and door frames, and on the eaves. Some are abstractions. Others are literal, representing humans and animals. Their material purpose is to bring a sculptural level of fine detail to the building, revealed by the casting of shadows over the course of the day. Their expressive purpose is to bring an element of the spirit to the fabric of the building.
