This cedar chest was made out of wood cut down from a farm in East Tennessee. There is plenty left for more chests. This project in particular was designed to fit in front of a queen bed. It was made with hidden casters with finger holes to make it easier to move around. The finger holes don't have to be included in the design.
Something that is not included in the picture is an 8 in. deep pull out tray divided into three sections for extra storage. The tray was made after the chest was put together so unfortunately I don't have a picture of it.
I can customize the chest in any way. This one had Tung oiled and polyurethane applied to protect the outside. The inside was just sanded and left unfinished to release the aromatic smell when the chest is opened.
