I am a bricoleur by nature, as defined by Claude Levi Strauss in "The Savage mind." I love material culture, and material objects are where my ideas for projects are born. They suggest themselves to me, much like Michael Angelo said of the marble he carved.
Because my art work is constructed from many found materials, it is often OOK in nature. Its content is suggested from Hispanic religious culture and the larger imagery of western Catholicsm.
