Art Nouveau is an ornamental style of art that flourished between about 1890 and 1910 throughout Europe and the United States. Art Nouveau is characterized by its use of a long, sinuous, organic line and was employed most often in architecture, interior design, jewelry and glass design, posters, and illustration. I have always admired the flowing lines of design in the Art Nouveau period and for me, the complexity and detail of this period are challenging to emulate. For this reason, I'm really proud of the way this Nouveau Ring came out. It captures a lot of the fluidity of the Art Nouveau period and does it in a way that retains structural integrity for a ring that will hold up as an heirloom for many generations. I hope you enjoy this design as much as I did making it!
