Arts & Crafts (Craftsman - Mission) Mantle Clock in Mahogany
Built entirely in solid mahogany with a deep rich reddish brown finish that gives the impression that the clock is 100 years old. The ebony plugs accentuate the joinery and add visual interest. The side gently curves in at the top. The 4 step finishing process utilizes dyes and stains that accentuate the mahogany's natural glimmer. Upon completion the clock received 4 hand rubbed coats of a high quality paste wax.
The reliable high end quartz movement chimes with clarity and has multiple setting including Westminster chimes and Ava Maria as well as a simple gong. The volume of the chime is infinitely adjustable and can be set to be silent at night. The movement takes 2 'C' cell batteries which should last 1 year. Access to the movement is through a removable rear panel.
I am happy to answer any questions about the clock as well as furnish additional photos to interested parties. Full instructions on how to set the quartz movement and chimes are provided.
The clock stands approximately 15 1/2" tall, 12" wide, and 6 1/2" deep. It weighs approximately 9 lbs.
