This unique wooden storage trunk is crafted from beautiful AA grade Ash wood and is accented with honey maple stained poplar wood slats. Our oil based finish creates a warm glow within the wood and gives great depth to the grain structure while maintaining a very durable and long lasting finish. The metal accent pieces are finished in brilliant silver and all metal sheeting is painted to a flat black and clear coated for optimal protection and beauty. The handles are real leather and are two ply for greater strength and longevity. Inside the storage trunk you will find cotton fabric lining in a dark brown color accented by a tan fabric border in a floral vine pattern. This blanket chest is modeled after the late American Victorian era using authentic reproduction hardware and craftsmanship.
