Delft Pedistal Table Painted With Faux Tiles

I painted this graceful pedestal table with water based acrylic to appear as if it is covered with blue and white Delft tiles. It is sealed with polyurethane. The inspiration for the center classic windmill scene was an old delft plate.  The varying shades of blue and 'gold' leaf are are carried into the table base and legs. The border tile designs and the pedestal motifs are loosely based on real tiles I found in my research.  The table is 24" tall and the top is 14" across.  Painting something similar starts @ $250 plus shipping and handling. As always, I can paint on your own piece of furniture if desired. Personalized items such as these are at the direction of the client. Every piece I do is hand painted and unique. If you are interested in knowing more about this piece send me an email or leave a comment.
