Originally designed and constructed to be used by the customer for three successive infants, who have now grown and left the nest, this cherry baby changing station was easily converted for another use. Constructed of solid cherry, a changing pad originally covered the top of the cabinet, which is the right height to change the babyies' diapers or clothes. Scupted back and end rails helped to keep the babies safe from falling off the cabinet.

Several drawers allowed for ample storage of baby clothes and other baby necessities. There is also storage behind the large solid cherry door. Black, antique hardware complements the rich, dark cherry color that deepens over the ensuing years.

After receiving a wash coat of thinned shellac to even out the finish, the cherry was given two (2) coats of polyurethane, and then hand rubbed with liquid wax.
