This quilt came about when my client found a box of her sister's clothes. The clothes were, well, dated (right out of the early 80's) and we will say less than attractive. They were loved however and the client wanted to keep them in a quilt.
The client chose a purple floral pattern quilters cotton for the sashing and cornerstones.
The quilt was quilted in a straight-line design on the sashing and free-motion over the clothes.
It was backed in a soft purple minky.
Some fun features on this quilt: a hat, button-up denim jacket, and applique'd onesie from when the little girl was brought home from hospital.
