This sculpture was commissioned in May of 2003 to commemorate the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce's 100 year anniversary. Unveiled at a gala celebration at Henry Ford Greenfield Village in July 2003, the sculpture and the artist was recognized with praise and honor by local dignitaries such as Governor Granholm.

The sculpture was designed specifically to be located outside of the office of the Chamber's Executive Director, in the One Woodward Building in Detroit, as it is seen in the picture. The colors used were in carrying with the preset theme of the celebration. The sculpture is made of 100 hand blown glass pieces, one to reflect each year of the Chamber's existence.
