This sign was designed for a local bar near me. I tried to capture the rockabilly/ greaser style of the bar while incorporating the logo that they have used since the 40s. This piece reflects back to the rat rod days of chrome and bare metal. I took the logo from their matchbook and had the lettering cut out of stainless on a cnc plasma. It was then polished to chrome like mirror finish that looks like its about to drip off the wall. The background is steel with a rust patina that I applied to get a beautiful orange marble pattern. The light is all hand made with bits and pieces I found laying around.
