As with all of our Replica & Vintage signs, our Nautical & Beach signs undergo the same distressing processes. We do not use commercial or retail grade lumber. That stuff is just to perfect. Rather, we use rejected stock the public at large does not find desirable. If its beat up, split and broken, it's desirable to Crafty Xtremes.

In addition, if it washes up on the beach or along the edge of a lake or river, we find that most desirable. Fence pickets, ship boards and drift wood are our main wood materials for our Nautical & Beach sign projects.

Our projects that incorporate metal will come with faux rust treatments derived through our special salting process then neutralized and sealed for permanence.
