Bavarian Rose Bed Quilt
A beautiful quilt photographed on an unfortunately windy day!
This quilt was commissioned for a family expecting a baby girl who did not want pink. After learning the family was Eastern European I searched out and found the perfect fabric and pattern.
The red roses are applique'd onto white quilting cotton fabric. The main fabrics feature folk European scenes.
The quilt was backed with a soft flannel and quilted in an all over meandering stipple. The roses were outline quilted.
