Walnut carcase, black lacquer exterior supports, canary wood door drawer fronts. The cabinet carcass is solid black walnut, the connection points are all dovetails, 138 dovetails to be exact in this piece including the solid maple drawers. Canary wood is beautiful as we can see and was used heavily 100 years aga in South America for small boat building as it has an oily property making it ideal for marine environments. But is very will suited for fine furniture as well.
