We love our piece because it incorporates functional space perfectly with a sense of humor. The use of odd bits and pieces in surprising places, and the colors of her design reflect a sense of whimsy which is a unique quality of the artist Laura Silber.
Custom Reclaimed Wood Bedroom Hutch in Sage Green. Apricot Yellow upper doors w vintage heating grate details. Two small jewelry/wallet drawers in Seafoam. Lower dresser drawers in Sweet Blue/Miller Blue combination. Hardware is a combination of vintage Eastlake Victorian (c.1885), antique steam valve handles, and vintage thumb latch door pulls. As with all of our pieces, all wood is reclaimed, and colors are our own custom palette. The piece is sealed with a zero-VOC poly to protect the color finishes, then polished with beeswax to provide a warm luster and soft-matte look. This is the fifth piece we have made for this customer. Built to last generations.
