Bedroom Set 2000
I have made lots of chests of drawers and to some extent that is what I am known for. This time I decided to make a whole bedroom set, and this is the result. There is a queen size bed, two nightstands, a tall chest and a low chest. The woods, typically, are Claro Walnut and Curly Cherry. I almost always make the drawer pulls myself because I cannot find anything that I like on the market. The pieces are assembled using mortise and tenon and through dovetail joints. The drawers are solid maple dovetailed front and back. They run on hard maple guides. Drawer bottoms are aromatic cedar.
Dimensions: The bed is queen size - 60" x 80"
Tall chest is 32" wide x 22" deep x 56" tall
Low Chest is 64" wide x 22" deep x 36" tall
Nightstands are 18" x 15" x 28" tall
