Bedroom Set With Nightstands In Cherry
The client wanted a headboard that symbolized the union of individual members in a family. The inner circle in the center of the board was done using a Japanese puzzle joint, pegged with wenge wood. The outer circle was done using four separate boards, also employing the Japanese puzzle joint and pegged with wenge. The top beam was joined with double-wedged thru-tennons, left proud and reinforced with wenge wood. Drawers on nightstands were hand dovetailed, not machined, with hand-carved drawer pulls. This design can be customized to accommodate a budget.
