Bench, Seat Or Accent Table With Drawers And Shelf Made From Solid Mahogany
This custom designed African Mahogany bench in is shown in Ipswich stain with a Tung oil finish.
The storage bench is 19" high x 13" deep at the feet x 36" Long.
The contemporary design incorporates two drawers (12" W x 8" D x 2" H Inside Dimensions) and a slatted shelf (5 1/2" H) for storage of shoes and others items.
There are too options handle available: hidden handles located at the bottom, back of the drawer face or antique brass recessed handles.
All surfaces are completely finished including the underside. The piece comes in Natural, Ipswich (Shown) or other stains of your choice.
The grain structure and appearance may vary because of the variations in the mahogany stock available. Depending upon the wood available, multiple boards may be used to create the 13" deep seat.
The hand crafted bench is made of 4/4 Mahogany, which has been fine hand sanded and finished with a minimum of 8 coats of Tung oil to bring out all of the wood grain.
The bench is shipped completely assembled and in a carton with multiple layers of bubble wraps and corrugated boxboard for protection. Insurance is also included in the shipping costs.
The legs, apron, shelf and seat are secured together with numerous hardwood picket screws. This results in a rigid, strong and high quality piece of furniture.
This is a custom piece and takes 6-8 weeks to complete.
No nails or brads are used. Shipment schedule is dependent upon material availability and backlog.
