Black Walnut And Maple Nightstand With Raised Panels
This nightstand features a black walnut top and legs; maple case; and a dovetailed drawer. The top has an interesting grain pattern and small tight knots. It also has a slight chamfer around the top edge.The chamfer is a design feature that is continued around the edge of the drawer front and a stopped chamfer on the outside edges of each leg. The case sides are made up of two maple raised panels and the back is a maple flat panel. They are attached to black walnut legs with deep pinned mortise and tenon joints. The drawer features a maple front with half-blind dovetails at all four corners.
