Black Walnut And Steel End Table

This table came to be when I was asked this question, "Can you make me a table that's, well... manly?"

Yes! and here's how:

Step one: Build it out the stuff they use to make high-end rifles; american black walnut and steel.

Step 2: Make it heavy as hell, and capable of supporting roughly six-million pounds.

Step 3: Leave the wood and the steel in their natural colors, like some lumberjack and miner just hauled them out of the earth with their bare hands.

Dimensions: 22 x 22 x 24H
Weight: Wicked heavy.

This was an exemplary experience in customer service and craftsmanship. Keven communicated regularly with me throughout the process, including by updating on each stage and sending photos, and welcomed my input. He finished the project in a mere few weeks, and the final product is beautiful - a customized end table with a unique steel base gripping a thick disc of solid, oil-finished walnut. Relative to many items I've purchased in the past, the value of this table far exceeds its price. I highly recommend the work of Keven and Higgins Fabrications and will be sure to engage them again!
