This special Bristlecone model is my 100th guitar. It's construction coincided with my tenth anniversary as a full time guitar maker. The salvaged Brazilian rosewood back and sides and a Swiss spruce top combine to produce a rich, clear tone. The asymmetrical mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and smooth EVO frets contribute to effortless playability and the Manzer Wedge body makes it very comfortable to hold and play. Trimmed out in Brazilian rosewood, maccasar ebony and paua abalone, this Blanchard Bristlecone is a joy to look at as well.
