For the Blue Crab Mosaic I tried to reproduce as accurately as I could: nature. The black background looks wonderful in the light box which it is mounted in. It makes this mosaic very special because you have two views, one without the light and one with the light on, depending on your mood. It consists of around 1000 glass pieces, each one handcut and selected, each piece glued on clear glass, grouted in black and mounted in a light box.
