Bluefaced Leicester and tencel blend in a wonderful roving. Soaks up dyes and gives incredibly brilliant colors! Next to skin soft, it feels like a wonderful fur coat and so nice and warm. The dyed roving in the pictures above are just examples of how well then blend dyes. In close ups you can see that the tencel soaks up at different rate giving very nice visual texture. Every one has merino tencel, try this blend I think you will like it even better!
This offering is for 4 ounces, for $15.00
I purchased this fleece from http://pitchfork.org/ and the wonderful sheep's name is Marcy Jr. It was tough to decide what to do as she had wonderful locks too, but I had been wanting to try this for quite some time and I am well pleased with the blend.
Why do we give the name of shepherds we purchase from? If we're happy with their fleeces they must be doing an excellent job as shepherds and we want to promote them to the spinning community. This is the second BFL fleece I have purchased from them and previously I had also purchased a rose grey llama fleece that was just as good, if not better, than some alpaca I have spun.
