This project is a paired set of cases that can fulfill requirements for a bookcase and/or a display case. These cases boldly show off the joinery techniques used in their construction. The primary wood is American Cherry with secondary accents in ebonized Brazilian Cherry. These cases are designed for use in living room, office or study, or a bedroom; and they are designed to sit side-by-side, separately from each other, or stacked one on top of the other. There is a drawer in one of the cases, a secret locking mechanism for the doors and other secret compartments. The finish is natural oil and other style accents are reminiscent of Green and Green.
