I design each project to fit the needs of each individual customer -this is what custom made actually means. Whether for a restaurant, residential dining room, kitchen, occasional table, bar area or coffee table they are made well to last and pass down as an heirloom from generation to generation. The tables can be made for business and office spaces as well including beautiful large conference tables or reception areas. I prefer to work with thicker wood cut 1"-3" thick or perhaps even more. I can use larger sections or many smaller widths laminated together. Let me know what you need and if at all possible, I will build it.

I treat each project as a marriage of art and design. A coffee table or end table depending on requirements will start in the range of $1,500+. If you are looking for a small kitchen table or dinning table the price point will start around $2,000+. Many kitchen or dinning tables end up in the range of $3,500-$5,500 or more because of size, the wood species, the base, and customers needs and requirements.

I can work in almost any wood species, although we reclaim as much wood as possible, cutting dead or injured trees and saving them from the furnace or chipper. Some beautiful woods include elm, ash, hickory, sycamore, spalted maple, various unique character elements such as burl, white and red oak, cottonwood, pine, cherry, osage orange (hedge) and cedar, however we are not limited to these woods. Please consider that a single wood slab section will have a higher price than if you put two or more sections together. If the wood needs to be fresh cut there is a greater amount of time required to produce the work as it will need to be air and then kiln dried.

Details.
We can provide those little details that make the difference including butterfly inlaid joints out of wood or metal. We also can provide inset work, carved areas, glass, resin, laser engraved, etc. For the base, I tend to make them out of metal for durability and the contemporary look. There are some stunning legs available on the market or I can custom design and produce these as well. These could be plated silver or bronze/gold in color, or black, natural steel, or any number of other colors or color patinas. We could even design and cast table legs in metal to fit your design. Each piece is different. Why would you have something custom otherwise? You want your very own special made table to enjoy and hand down as a part of your history.

Time frame for design and production will vary however typical time frame for a table is 8+ weeks. If you need something quicker it is possible if I am able to find the right wood to meet your needs that is already aged to perfection.
