i'm on a multipurpose kick. but since turning a volvo wagon into an amphibious vehicle is apparently a "bad idea" according to, well, everyone, i just keep making multifunction furniture instead.

this is a tiny little, child size bench that tilts up on its side to act as a normal size stool. it's made entirely of reclaimed bowling alley maple and has two footrests (for when in stool use) made of walnut.

i should mention this could also be a coffee table that doubles as a side table or a tv stand that doubles as a plant stand. etc. think of your own uses. don't let my imagination's limits stifle you!

i kept this pretty natural and just treated it with danish oil (and some bowling alley wax, of course).

dimensions: 26" long X 12" tall X 10.5" wide (as a bench. do the math for the stool.)
