Bowling Alley Tables, The Pin-Deck Collection
The Pin-Deck Collection is comprised of reclaimed bowling lanes from the early 1980's. The name comes from the "surface at which the bowling pins set." These lanes were removed from the alley and recycled by RAW. RAWoodDesigns saw the life and beauty still left in these amazing pieces of wood. Each Pin-Deck Collection piece has authentic bowling lanes as the focal point with exotic mahogany surrounds and maple or walnut inlays that capture the true beauty of the bowling lane. The lane itself is extremely dense old growth "heart" pine that no longer exists to the normal public. This material has held up for more than 64 years against the rough pounding of bowlers and still has a lifetime of use in your home.
Special orders are being accepted for the Pin-Deck Collection. We can customize any table, desk, coffee table, etc. to meet your rooms size and tastes.
We can customize base support depending on your needs. We typically like the juxtaposition of metal base with this unique wood top. We can use hair pin legs, industrial metal pipe, or even a unique metal base support. We can always make traditional wood base as well.
For finish, we typically hand rub multiple coats of tung oil followed by multiple applications of orange oil and beeswax for a natural looking resistant finish. We can always customize finish as well
