We built our new home several years ago and I had been looking high and low for a large chandelier for our dining room that has a very high pitched ceiling. After three years looking for the right fixture, I stumbled upon Simon's work. I wanted a chandelier similar to one he made for another client, but he customized the sizing and details to my needs. The chandelier is exactly what I had been looking (and waiting) for -- it is simply stunning. It truly is a work of art.
One of a kind custom fiberglass sculpture. It has implied motion of stretching and pulling. This piece is many layers of fiberglass resin over the material to create a light but sturdy form. Then we painted real bronze metal powder on it and treated it with a patina to make it a real bronze finish. Comes with the base and stainless mounting rod. Countless hours were spent to get this eye catching shape and form through sanding and shaping. the base is 5x5x8 and the sculpture is about 30 inches tall.
