Built In Kitchen Pantry

This custom pantry was built into a historic home. The customer was tackling with an idea to utilize otherwise wasted space where the odd angled walls stretched from a doorway to the fireplace. He came up with a custom built in pantry so that they would add storage space to their already tight kitchen. The initial on site visit included templating the angled and out of level walls and floor, and determining how we would work it in around a beam and fireplace mantel.

The unit was built and painted in our shop in two pieces and custom fitted and installed in one day, It features can goods shelving on the back of the doors and several shelves at specfied heights for other food items. We used piano hinges to ensure the doors could carry the weight. The owner provided us with custom paint to match surrounding trim and cabinets. It also includes ball foot legs.

Dimensions: 6 ft. x7 ft.
