The body of this jewelry box is made of wild tamarind (from the Florida Keys). It has two drawers and two lift-out trays, all of the interior components are made of pao amarillo. The drawers run on dovetail slides, and the box features wooden hinges and exposed-dowel joinery.
Each tray is divided into four compartments, and the space underneath the trays is divided into eight compartments, while each drawer has six compartments. Each compartment is lined with black velvet. I can easily customize the interior compartments to hold watches, pens, pocket knives, or whatever you need to store and display. The price is $550.
