C-Table
This table was created with 1.5" thick plywood left over from making doors at a plywood plant. The legs were hand bent, welded, and we had them powder coated by a local small business. Most people will freak out when you sit on the cantilever end of the table, which looks impossibly light and stiff for such a chunky structure... Fortunately, it is supported just beyond sight with an plywood column, so this table can handle anything you throw at it. The plywood is sanded and coated with clear lacquer, then sanded and coated again, so the top is remarkably smooth for such a coarse material
I wanted this table to look like it was cut from one piece of plywood, highlighting the beauty of wood "strata" created by layer upon layer of different woods pressed together. The C-shape gives it just a hint of forward motion and squat legs help it look like it could almost fly off on you if you look away too long.
This product is endlessly adaptable to your specific needs - from coffee tables to end tables, hallway tables, entertainment centers, or even dinner tables.
- The width and length of this table are 18.25"x48", but it could be shrunk as small as needed, or expanded as large as 48"x120".
- The bottom of the C creates a shelf with the full surface area of the table, this table has a 3" internal clearance, but that space can be adjusted higher or lower in increments of 1.5" to adapt to your storage needs.
- The legs of this table are 8.25" high, and made of 1/2" steel rod, and can handle hundreds lbs of weight, but they could be made higher, lower, or thicker.
- As far as surface options, you may choose any color you want, and we will either powder coat, or paint them in a high performance enamel.
