This small cabin really put together!
The lumber is locally harvested (CO.), "beetle kill" spruce cut into 6" x 12" x 16' timbers. The outside face was then broadaxed for texture. The corners are cut into a Swedish cope. Each timber is then spiked to the one below it. No need for chinking!
The interior is paneled with Western Red Cedar and the whole thing sets on a heated floor and has a stone fireplace
It lives on the slopes of Vail, CO.
This cabin is the reason my shoulders are shot!
