This is a Maloof inspired piece, with my own twist, literally. It features hand carved barley twist. The swinging basket can be fully locked into place, turning the bassinet into a crib. The one in the pictures is built out of solid walnut with ebony, curly maple, and African Mahogany accents. However I can build out of almost any material you could want. Price will be subject to material.

Some things that make this design so unique is the sculpted design. What I mean by that exactly is; where the joints come together they are not simply butted up next to each other creating harsh angles, instead all the lines are tangent creating a smooth uninterrupted finish. Also notice the smooth flowing lines that are meticulously hand shaped creating unmatched detail every inch. One could stare all day and still find new details and curves they hadn't previously noticed. All of this hand polished and finished to bring out the beauty in the piece, and the wood itself. I use a Tung oil finishing technique that truly gets the most out of the natural beauty of the wood, and is silky smooth to the touch.

I did add a safety feature to the swinging basket, the braces underneath limit the swing, keeping anything inside perfectly safe from perhaps another young sibling attempting to over swing the basket, and if desired you can lock it into place entirely using the wood threaded hand screws that are conveniently stored on the side.
