This cake figurine is approximately 14" high with an 8" diameter bottom and weighs over 4 pounds. The artist's maker's mark with green felt pads is also included on the bottom. There is an internal armature with a wood base while all outer layers are constructed of quality safe, heat cured polymer. All the details were hand sculpted, sanded and painted. In this example, the customer requested a Dragon Ball Z theme for a special Birthday. The most exciting part of this project was the customer gave me artistic freedom to create this imaginative work of art while updates were posted throughout the creative process for approvals. This two tiered cake has a sandy beach with rocks, plants & shells. Above the beach, the calm waters are disturbed by a large red fish playing with a gold power ball while a fierce dragon splashes & coils around the cake. The sky is a lighter blue with white 3-D clouds and different colored shooting stars. On top there is the figure of a young Goku standing on a yellow cloud beside a gold power ball ready for battle! And of course you can't forget the "Happy Birthday & Name" written in the sky!
