“You Cannot Control The Wind But You Can Control The Sails."

I did a series of ship paintings not long ago. Yes, they are all painted and fired onto the glass at 1250 degrees. I love the old schooners and clipper ships of days long past. They are not your typical framed glass art piece. Instead, I wanted to come up with a more unique way of displaying them and so this is what I came up with. They are all 1/4" thick glass with part of their edges beveled. The frame is oak stained to perfection. The bottom of the wood base is covered with a piece of felt to protect your surfaces.

This one has a brass inscribed plate that says "You cannot control the wind but you can control the sails."

Size: 17 3/4" wide by 4" wide by 10" tall. This piece would look great on a desk, mantel, window sill or…

Please Note: My shipping and handling fees are an estimate. Upon receiving the final shipping location I will get the final cost. Every piece is different in size and shape. This is why I have to do it this way.
