I happened across this junk yard filled with cars and thought it was terrible that all those seats were going to be crushed and thrown away like junk, so after a quick stop in and a small fee i walked out with a passenger seat from a Jaguar ready to breath new life into it. I started by opening it up and gutting the electronics and other things i had no use for. The arms and legs are a single form repeated almost verbatim except the lap that was created at different spots in order to join them. I used hollow metal rod to connect the sides and create a rest for the seat threading one rod through the seat back as to be hidden and create support. The welt and metal rods are painted by hand with blue oil paints i converted the lamp in the head rest to operate with a toggle switch and 2 AA batteries.
