Wagon From Reclaimed Oak
I custom made this wagon for a little girls' first birthday. The wagon rails are made from solid reclaimed slow -growth quartersawn white oak barn-wood around 100-years-old.
The bottom of the wagon is made from 3/4 Baltic Birch plywood then veneered with 1/4 in solid reclaimed matched cherry from the same barn.
-All wood joinery (with the exception of course of wheels and hardware involved in undercarriage)
-Extremely stiff/tough construction, built not just for years but generations of abuse.
-side rails are curved into the dadoes to give wagon a fluid look.
-Finished in semi gloss spare varnish for durability
